Friendly volunteers, awesome set up with a fantastic main floor including a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a sheltered outdoor dining area, and a refreshing patio with a lovely pool. The rooftop terrace is a jaw-dropping bonus! Clean bathrooms on every floor. The breakfast included toast, butter, jam, yogurt, cheese, and ham for the omnivores. The chilled and accommodating host, Max, made us feel right at home. The relaxed atmosphere and the location in the quiet eastern part of town were perfect after fun-filled days at the beach, hiking, or exploring volcanoes. The bus station and Campanario shopping center are just a minute away, with the beautiful Flag Beach and the dunes nature reserve to the east and the city center to the north, both within walking distance. The three bathrooms and toilets meant no waiting, and the capacity of guests struck a perfect balance between rest and social interaction. The kitchen supplies were plentiful, and the deck and terrace provided a great space for yoga or poolside relaxation. The beds were super comfortable. I absolutely loved my stay here, it felt like being part of a warm and friendly family. Ended up staying longer because it was just that amazing! The hostel itself was EXCELLENT, with its scrumptious breakfast, cool pool, and awesome rooftop. We even had delightful family dinners thanks to Martin! I would highly recommend and definitely come back.

I had a great time at Surfers Retreat during my short trip. The staff, especially Anne, Constanza, and Angels, were amazing! They were helpful and made my stay memorable. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The location was perfect for exploring the island and taking the bus to the dunes. The atmosphere was calm and ideal for a good night's sleep. I enjoyed meeting the other guests and the friendly vibes from the staff. I will definitely come back!

Surfers Retreat was a lovely, relaxing hostel with great staff. The volunteers were friendly and made me feel welcome. The hostel was impressively clean, and the breakfast included a variety of options. While the location was a compromise, being about a 20-minute walk from both the old town and the beach, it allowed for exploration in both directions.

Surfers Retreat exceeded my expectations with its beautiful, modern, and impeccably clean facilities. The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and even the ocean! Alessandro. He not only provided helpful tips for surfing, but also cooked the most delicious dinner I had in Corralejo.

stayed in Corralejo before but Surfers Retreat exceeded expectations. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, great storage, and lovely balcony. Kind and helpful staff. Clean and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Surfers Retreat is located in a private neighborhood close to the sea, making it convenient for beach lovers. Guests can easily explore the town and nature as the hostel works with a nearby surf school and offers surfboard rentals and lessons. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and social atmosphere for solo travelers.

There is a need for an additional chill/lounge area on the rooftop to provide a more relaxed space for guests to hang out and socialize.

The value for money at the hostel was great, with a comfy bed and nice furniture in our private room. The location was perfect, just a five-minute walk from the main road with all the shops and restaurants. The hosts at Surfers Retreat were amazing, always preparing and taking care of everything, and even took us surfing!
